Bledsoe and Associates is your Flow Control Valve specialist. We offer high quality state-of-the-art ball and butterfly valves for use in a variety of industrial applications. Depending on your specific requirements, a butterfly valve may be preferrable to a ball valve because of the lower cost and more lightweight design.
Our butterfly valves come in a variety of different types and configurations. We offer 3 styles: Wafter Style, Lug Style, and Actuated.
Wafer Style Butterfly Valves
Our wafter style discs come in either stainless steel or nylon coated disks. Our nylon coated disks are an excellent choice, able to withstand pressures of 150WOG and operated by a gear operator. Our stainless steel discs, with a body of cast iron, are a little more durable and can withstand pressures up to 175WOG, for a variety of pipe sizes ranging from 2 1/2 to 20.
Lug Style Butterfly Valves
The lug style discs come in nylon or stainless steel as well and are essentially the same, though they have lugs on the side providing a firm clamp for the valve to ensure that it won't budge even under intense pressure.
Actuated Style Butterfly Valves
Our actuated series of butterfly valves comes either electrically or pneumatically powered. Both are priced on application, with the electric being a Sharpe Series Electric Actuator and the Pneumatic being a DelTorq Pneumatic Rack & Pinion.
